Resistive Touch Panels (RTP)

Stable Operation • Flexible Input • Versatile for Various Environments

RTP (Resistive Touch Panel) is a pressure-sensitive touch technology that determines touch coordinates through contact between conductive layers. When pressure is applied to the touch surface, the conductive layers make contact, allowing the controller to determine the touch position based on changes in voltage.

Unlike capacitive touch technology, RTP does not rely on the electrical properties of the human body. It can be operated using fingers, gloved hands, or styluses, providing flexible and reliable input for applications requiring precise touch control.

RayShine provides various RTP structures and customized solutions based on different LCD, mechanical, and application requirements. Additional display functions can also be integrated according to project requirements.

RayShine RTP Solutions

  • 4-Wire / 5-Wire / 8-Wire configurations
  • Glass-Film / Glass-Film-Glass structure options
  • Customized sizes, shapes, and FPC designs
  • Controller and interface options based on project requirements
  • Integration with Sunlight Readable, EMI Shielding, and Cover Glass solutions
  • LCD and Touch Panel integration based on application requirement

RayShine can evaluate the appropriate RTP structure and integration solution based on your LCD specifications, touch requirements, operating method, and application environment.
