OCA / OCR Optical Bonding

Enhanced Clarity • Reduced Reflection • Full-Surface Bonding

OCA / OCR Optical Bonding is a full-surface bonding process that eliminates the air gap between the LCD, Touch Panel, and Cover Glass using OCA (Optically Clear Adhesive) or OCR (Optically Clear Resin).

By replacing the air gap with an optically clear bonding material, the process helps reduce internal reflections, improve display contrast and readability, and enhance the overall structural integration of the display module.

RayShine provides both OCA and OCR bonding solutions, allowing the bonding method to be selected according to the display structure, size, optical requirements, and project needs.

Key Features

  • Improved Display Clarity & Reduced Reflection
Reduces internal reflections between optical interfaces, helping improve contrast, readability, and overall display quality.
  • Enhanced Outdoor Readability
Improved optical integration helps maintain better display visibility under high ambient light conditions.
  • Enhanced Structural Integration
Full-surface bonding integrates the LCD, Touch Panel, and Cover Glass into a more unified and stable module structure.
  • Reduced Dust & Moisture in the Air Gap
Eliminating the internal air gap helps reduce the possibility of dust, moisture, and condensation entering between the display layers.
  • Flexible Functional Integration
Can be combined with AR (Anti-Reflection), AG (Anti-Glare), AF (Anti-Fingerprint), EMI Shielding, and Heater Glass according to project requirements.

OCA / OCR Bonding Options

OCA – Optically Clear Adhesive
A transparent adhesive film used for full-surface optical bonding, suitable for display structures requiring controlled adhesive thickness and clean integration.

OCR – Optically Clear Resin
A transparent liquid resin used to fill the bonding area between display layers, providing flexibility for different module structures and bonding requirements.

Customized Bonding Solutions

RayShine can evaluate the appropriate OCA or OCR bonding process based on your LCD model, display size, Touch Panel or Cover Glass structure, optical requirements, and mechanical design.
